Ultrasonic Nebulizer TEFLON coated for Chemical Processing makes Micron Particles

Nebulizers for Chemical Processing Ultrasonic nebulizer converts low viscosity liquids into fine like particles. Nebulizers come standard with teflon coated base plate and viton or teflon  seals. Liquids are placed on top of the 2.4 MHz element and are transformed into cloud like particles. Ultrasonic nebulizers come in  different models. Model  241T is a single element nebulizer which which can process up to 250 ml/hr.  This nebulizer is easily combined into multi-element  nebulizer arrays for increased processing.

To operate, a cell used to hold liquid and is attached to the top of the base plate by use of O-ring supplied and 6-32 bolts. As the liquid is excited a cone shaped plume is forced over the element where particles begin break from the surface.  As the particles are generated,  they begin to levitate inside the cell where they are to be moved from the cell for processing by a low velocity air flow, however vacuums and flows up to 85 fpm have been used. It is important to move the particles as they are generated in order to maintain the small size needed for the application.  For operating the ultrasonic nebulizer in a high temperature environment, the nebulizer needs to be placed away from the heat.  As particles are generated, they are to be carried off to the heated section of the setup.  Particles that are heated shrink to make sub-micron particles making the device good for making fine powders and for coating small objects.

Each device comes with a 24 volt power supply.
